Monster cascade from Motorkondis 40µF 250V 12 pieces

I have to build a 6-stage electrical testing equipment cascade from 40µF 250v Motorkondesatoren. It is fed directly from the mains. That would have to scrap at least as good as a MOT just in continuous operation and without overheating. : twisted: This kondis cost €2 per piece (Betribskondensator for 2,2 kw AC motor) at Palmer
The diode should I use? If you the Konis eh by Pollin I would kauftst equal to a few fellow order, z.B fat diodes the SK3GL06 (600V, 10A The best thing is, 10 PCs cost only 50ct.

Wow, that's you gotta watch but, because warschenlich this kondis net are pulse and overheat you schnell...und need to have ina 2. schalten...dann level 2 kondis succession capacity is divided by 2 and the power is gone after the last level: cry: if I correctly interpret this http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Villard-Kaskade, each capacitor in the cascade needs to keep "only" 2U-spitze, that would be at 230 ~ v at the entrance then probably ca. 690 volts required voltage strength per Kondensator...das will probably nix.

Then I beshränke it for the first time on 3 levels and unlock 2 kondis in series. This is the 6 x then still input voltage
The voltage is indicated for alternating current so would a 375 VDC stand
